Inner Peace

Since ancient times, the trifecta — Tea, Meditation, and Taichi - has been used in China to cultivate inner peace, particularly in the Wuyi Mountains, long revered as holy grounds for self-cultivation. For thousands of years, Taoist and Zen practitioners alike have meditated on these misty mountaintops and have attributed the local tea trees of having healing properties. Designated by UNESCO as priceless living jewels, we now cultivate ourselves in the same active temples. Use the monastery grounds to deepen your relationship with life, yourself, and the sacred. In the quietude of running rivers, flowing taichi movement, ancient moss-covered tea trees, and bowls of tea, allow worries of self to dissolve. Explore the concept of köng xing (空性), the nature of space, to clear your mind and step through the gateway into profound stillness, healing, and vitality. By embracing this intentional pause, we shed the burdens of the world, creating a luminous space for the mind and body to thrive.
